A picturesque roofless ruin of a medieval Franciscan abbey church built in Backsteingotik (Brick Gothic) style, first mentioned in the 13th century. Bombed in WWII and left as a romantic ruin in the middle of the city, it is now used as an open-air venue for concerts and events. One of the oldest surviving structures in Berlin.
