The path ends at the heaviest part of the falls — the source is higher still, and only the rocks take you there.

Up past Gömbe and a little higher into the hills, at the end of a stretch of dirt road you take slowly. There is room to leave the car, and from there a footpath of about a kilometre does the rest. It narrows in places — enough that it is a hard sell for small children or anyone unsteady on their feet. The path ends where the falls come down hardest, and the water is the point: ice-cold, clear, straight off the mountain. The source sits higher still, and getting to it means picking your way up over the rocks. Nothing has been built up here. No facility, no kiosk, and not many people either.
