On the western edge of Sai-ko, this lookout offers stunning views of Mt Fuji, particularly when the surrounding trees blaze with autumn colour. It's less crowded than the Kawaguchi-ko viewpoints and rewards you with a quieter, more contemplative experience of the mountain's grandeur. The name itself means 'autumn leaves platform,' and it delivers on that promise magnificently in late October and November.
