A local would say...
A cool forested valley where thousands of orange-and-black moths cover every surface from June to September — one sharp noise and they all fly at once.
A narrow wooded valley in western Rhodes where thousands of Jersey tiger moths (locally called butterflies) gather in summer among the oriental sweetgum trees. Streams, wooden bridges and shaded paths make for a wonderfully cool walk in the heat of a Greek summer. Best visited in July when the moths are most concentrated.
