The town's own beach, a short way west of the centre and a little past İnceboğaz. It is a big site: a jetty at one end, a stretch of sand at the other, and behind the shore a strip of lawn under trees where people haul their own chairs and stay the whole day. There is a facility renting sunbeds and umbrellas if you did not bring your own, changing huts, cold showers, cafés, and a car park — which on this coast is not nothing. Gentle enough underfoot that families with small kids default to it. One thing to plan around: attendants clear the beach at eight in the evening, so this is not where you watch the sun go down.
