The town's own beach, a short way west of the centre. The pebbles here run smaller than anywhere else on this coast, so walking into the water does not hurt. Behind the shore there is a strip of lawn under trees where locals haul their own chairs and settle in for the day. Changing huts, cold showers, two cafés, and a mountain wall behind the whole thing.
