Slip off your shoes, step into slippers, and enter one of the most peaceful museums in frenetic Harajuku. The excellent ukiyo-e woodblock print collection of former insurance magnate Ota Seizo rotates through thematic exhibitions that regularly feature works by Hokusai and Hiroshige. You'll move through hushed rooms where wave-crashing seascapes and snow-dusted bridges feel almost three-dimensional. The whole experience takes barely an hour, making it an ideal detour between shopping sprees on Takeshita-dori.
