The perfect bowl of matcha after climbing the stone lanes, in a teahouse so tiny you might walk right past it.

A charming, small traditional teahouse found on the left side at the top of Sannen-zaka. The ideal place to stop for a cup of hot matcha in winter or a bowl of uji kintoki — shaved ice with sweetened green tea — in summer. Small enough that you may need to ask a local to point it out.
