The east building presents the broader history of Hiroshima and the destructive power of nuclear weapons, while the main building holds the salvaged aftermath. This museum will change you. Allow yourself time to process what you see, and don't feel obligated to rush to the next attraction afterward. Some experiences need breathing room.
