Little is left of the ancient Ionian settlement in Foça: a ruined theatre, the remains of an aqueduct near the otogar and and traces of two shrines to the goddess Cybele. Some 7km east of town on the way to the İzmir highway and on the left-hand side of the road lies an anıt mezarı (monumental tomb)
