The domed marble hot room — where you'll be scrubbed, soaped, and massaged on the heated göbektaşı (navel stone) — is the classic Istanbul hamam experience. Touristy? Yes. But the building itself is the real thing, and the post-bath languor in the cooling room is genuine bliss.
