Built over three centuries ago, this is one of the city's most beautiful hamams — and it boasts (without evidence) that King Edward VIII, Kaiser Wilhelm II, Franz Liszt, Cameron Diaz and Florence Nightingale have enjoyed its pleasures. The surroundings are so impressive they've featured in everything from soap ads to an Indiana Jones film. Separate baths each have a large camekan (reception area).
