These curvaceous Art Nouveau stairs cascade down the steep Galata hillside in an elegant double helix — part staircase, part sculpture. Built in the early 1900s by the wealthy Kamondo banking family, they've become one of Beyoğlu's most Instagrammed spots. Climb them from Bankalar Caddesi and you'll emerge into the heart of old Galata's winding lanes.
