20.000 granit blok, sıfır harç — 2000 yıldır ayakta duran Roma su kemeri
Segovia's most recognisable symbol is this 89m-long Roman Aqueduct — an engineering wonder that looks like an enormous comb plunged into Segovia. First raised by the Romans in the 1st century AD, the aqueduct was built with not a drop of mortar to hold more than 20,000 uneven granite blocks together. At its highest point in Plaza del Azoguejo, it rises 28m high. Legend says it was built by the Devil in a single night.
