Ronda's most recognisable sight — the 'new bridge' built in 1793 that spectacularly spans the 100m-deep El Tajo gorge, connecting the old Moorish town with the newer part. An engineering marvel of its time, the bridge took 34 years to build and one worker fell to his death during construction. The views from the bridge and the gorge floor below are absolutely breathtaking.
