Reina Sofia Museum

Home to Picasso's Guernica — arguably Spain's single most famous artwork, and perhaps the most powerful anti-war painting ever created. The museum traces Spain's extraordinary contribution to modern art with rooms devoted to Dalí, Miró, Juan Gris and a host of other 20th-century masters. The building itself is a stunning transformation of an 18th-century hospital.
