Campo del Moro Gardens

These gardens beneath the Palacio Real were designed to mimic Versailles. Nowhere is this more evident than along the east-west Pradera, a lush lawn with the palace as its backdrop. The elegant Fuente de las Conchas (Fountain of the Shells) by Ventura Rodríguez, completes the Goya-esque 18th-century architecture scene.
