Salvador Dalí conceived this museum as a total artwork — 'the largest surrealist object in the world.' The building itself is topped with giant eggs and studded with golden bread rolls. Inside, the collection spans the breadth of Dalí's extraordinary career, from his earliest Cubist-influenced works to his massive ceiling paintings. Dalí is buried in a crypt beneath the stage. Utterly unique.
