This former factory and barracks designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch is an outstanding work of Modernista architecture — like a Lego fantasy in brick. Alight at Espanya metro and make for CaixaForum, always host to three or four free top-class exhibitions. Absolutely worth a visit for the building alone.
