The world's most cheerful graveyard — each grave marker is a brightly painted wooden cross with a humorous poem and naive painting depicting the dead person's life, vices, and manner of death. Started by local artist Stan Ion Pătraș in 1935. Death celebrated with wit and colour instead of grief.
