The 'Dracula Castle' that Dracula probably never visited — but Queen Marie loved it
The so-called 'Dracula's Castle' — though Vlad Țepeș probably never lived here. Built by Saxons in 1382 to defend the Bran pass, it became a royal residence for Queen Marie. The real appeal is the atmosphere: narrow passageways, hidden staircases, and the dramatic hilltop setting. Touristy but hard to resist.
