Perched on the 52nd floor of Mori Tower, this museum pairs world-class contemporary art exhibitions with a staggering aerial view of Tokyo. The high ceilings and massive gallery space do justice to large-scale installations from both Japanese and international superstars. Unlike most Tokyo museums, it stays open until 10pm, making it ideal for an evening of art followed by city lights from the adjacent Tokyo City View observatory. The combination ticket gives you both culture and panorama in one vertiginous package.
