A handsome ochre-coloured stone mansion set high above the harbour on Hydra island. Former home of a major player in the Greek War of Independence, it is an exquisite example of late-18th-century traditional architecture filled with original furnishings, folk costumes and handicrafts. A steep hike from the harbour's southwest corner.
