A tiny island in a placid pond within Tiergarten, designed as a memorial to 18th-century French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau. It was intentionally modelled on his actual burial site on an island near Paris. One of the most idyllic and quietly surprising spots in central Berlin.
