The largest lake in Tiergarten, southwest of the Siegessäule, where you can rent rowing boats or relax at the Café am Neuen See beer garden on the shore. The surrounding woodland paths and lakeside setting make it one of the most idyllic corners of the city centre. On warm weekends Berliners pack the beer garden from early afternoon.
