A UNESCO World Heritage site of extraordinary natural beauty featuring 16 terraced turquoise lakes connected by a cascade of 92 waterfalls in a limestone canyon covered with dense forest. Wooden boardwalks wind between and over the lakes at water level, passing under waterfalls and through a landscape that seems sculpted rather than natural. The water's vivid turquoise colour comes from dissolved minerals and algae.
